Trust policy

How we keep recommendations useful.

Stay Eat Orlando is built for practical trip decisions. Reviews can be positive, mixed, or not published at all.

How reviews are made

We review restaurants and hotels for specific Orlando trip situations: where you are staying, who is with you, how tired everyone is, what parking looks like, and whether the price makes sense.

What affects scores

Scores weigh practical fit, logistics, value, and confidence. A beautiful room or a great meal can still score lower if it creates friction for the trip scenario.

What money cannot buy

Payment, comps, hosted visits, discounts, affiliate relationships, and media access do not buy scores, rankings, headlines, placement, or positive language.

What gets disclosed

If a meal, stay, tasting, discount, affiliate link, sponsored module, or media visit is part of the coverage, we disclose that context near the relevant recommendation.

Affiliate and sponsored disclosure

Commercial relationships are labeled.

Some links may eventually earn a commission. Sponsored placements may also appear if they meet our baseline standards. Those relationships will be labeled where they appear.

Commercial relationships do not change Stay Eat Scores, organic rankings, best-for notes, skip-if notes, caveats, or editor ratings.

Corrections

Tell us when something is wrong.

Menus, hotel fees, parking rules, hours, reservation policies, and shuttle details change. We want factual errors fixed quickly.

Send correction notes through the venue invite form and choose the closest venue type. Put "Correction" at the start of the message.

Review standard

Finished reviews need real substance.

A finished review should have visit context, disclosure, concrete food or stay details, service and atmosphere notes, logistics, price and value, best-for and skip-if guidance, source evidence, and image provenance.
